.
Coco chanel is the most inspiring and creative person of all times .
Her works though are simple but she manages to change the stereotype thinking and outfit for woman in her generation and also continues to influence us till today.
Saumur. France
Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel at a younger age.

Named: Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel  and born  9 August 1883  in saumur France , Chanel was put in to an orphanage by her father at a young age .She was raised by nuns and was taught sewing .This skill followers her into the future of her life work. She had a brief career as a singer after she left the orphanage and there is where she started to have the nickname"Coco" ,which in french means "kept woman".

Later in her life, she met her lover and was able finance Chanel in her debut and open a hat shop. However it was on a vacation with her lover and the reinvention of her lover"s old jersey shirt . She created "freedom " for women of her time because in the past, women were trap in corsets which makes it difficult to breath or to even eat.Chanel feels that that isn't how a modern women should dress .
CHANEL NO. 5
In 1920, she launched her first perfume,Chanel no.5 which brings her business to a new height and helped increase more revenue. At the same year, she also created " the little black dress" which is a important and must have clothing in women's closet today.

In 1925, she introduced the now legendary Chanel suit with collarless jacket and well-fitted shirt. It was revolutionary at that time as the idea and design elements comes from menswear.

However to come all the way to be so successful wasn't easy for Chanel .In 1930s, the international economical depression has a huge negative impact on Chanel"s company .But it was the outbreak of world war 2 that forced Chanel to close her shops.  After the war,Chanel made her triumphant return.

Overall after researching her background and biography ,i learnt that she is a strong minded woman and brought women's fashion to a whole new level. She changed the stereotype way of dressing women and created her own style which people still follows to day. Her inspiring life story continues to captivate people's hearts and attention.
